5 Elements Yin & Restorative Yoga Teacher Training

Dates & Certification

Feb 20, 2027 – Feb 27, 2027
50 HOURS YACEP TEACHER TRAINING

Overview

Explore the Five Elements through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine in this Yin & Restorative Yoga Teacher Training and retreat with internationally celebrated teacher Kali Basman. This 50-hour YACEP program weaves hands-on anatomy, structural alignment, energetic practices, and Buddhist teachings with the Eight Limbs of Yoga to guide you back to the Self.

This immersive yoga teacher training retreat centers on restoration of the body-mind: somatic integration, contemplative practice, and deepening your personal and teaching practice in a sanctuarious setting. Withdrawn from daily patterns, the mind turns inward and the body explores the energetics of the inner world—allowing stillness and spaciousness to seep into being.

“Kali’s teachings have awakened the energy that had been buried unknown to me for so many years of my life and the fire within has been ignited to give and to offer to others.”

Each day offers embodied Yin/Restorative practice for personal integration and extensive teaching practicums to refine your authentic voice as a space holder and mindful movement facilitator. A specific focus on Pratyahara - the Great Withdrawal encourages boundaries around retreat life, training in stillness, spaciousness, and quietude. Disconnecting from devices and normative social contexts is recommended to allow the nervous system to enter deep restoration.

In the serenity of the jungle, we’ll turn off all our devices and go online with our hearts, breath, and practice.
