Alignment Yoga — Therapeutic Alignment, Mobility & Core Classes in Koh Phangan
Come experience a different kind of yoga class! Alignment Yoga is a unique method developed by Tal Swissa over 20 years of teaching. Drawing from Yoga Therapy, Iyengar Yoga, Pilates, Mobility and Somatic Movement, Tal has created a distinctive style that blends precision, exploration and gentle care for the body. Each session explores a fresh theme—core muscles, hip mobility, chest mobility, the psoas, nervous system balance, lower back health, spine elongation, therapeutic backbends, breath and optimal posture—so every class feels focused and new.
Tal has been teaching on the island since 2010. In 2015 she opened her own yoga center, and since 2016 she has been leading Alignment Yoga Teacher Trainings at her school, sharing this alignment-based approach with teachers and students alike.

About the studio & venue
Our boutique yoga studio on Koh Phangan, Thailand is run by Tal and her partner Guy. The studio was created with the vision of promoting self-healing and well-being and making the world a better place. The teacher training courses offer a comprehensive presentation of yoga as therapy and a vehicle to promote holistic health and genuine well-being. We view yoga teachers as ambassadors of change, peace and joy.
One of the meanings of Yoga is balance. In the Yoga tradition it is Ha-Tha—sun and moon. In the Taoist tradition it is Yin-Yang. These paired contradictions are interlaced and harmonized; this balanced energy is our inspiration and intention: harmony, balance and well-being.
