Overview
Breaking Free from Low Mood and Depression is an 8-week face-to-face course for those who suffer with low mood and depression.
Using a mindfulness-based approach, you’ll learn practical tools and compassionate strategies to manage low mood, work with our thoughts and feelings and prevent depressive episodes. However, the course is not suitable for those currently experiencing depression; it is designed for individuals who have experienced depression or are prone to low mood and wish to maintain positive and resilient mental health.
Throughout the course, you will learn a mindfulness 'ABC' model:
- Awareness: Recognize and understand your feelings.
- Be with difficulty: Accept and face challenges compassionately.
- Choices: Develop skills to make healthier decisions every day.
Participants often report experiencing increased joy, gratitude, and confidence, feeling better equipped to handle life’s challenges and more connected with their sense of purpose.
