
Healing Sexual Trauma
Overview
It is time to heal and let go of what is not making you happy. In this sexual healing and body-awareness workshop you will learn to ask for what you need so you can receive the love and care that helps heal old wounds and opens you to new, fresh experiences.
Focus of the week
This week we focus on how you may be neglecting your body—on the negative beliefs and suppressed emotions tied to it. By sharing these emotions, memories and beliefs, and by truly feeling and expressing them, you begin to unlock your body. You will be gently guided, step by step, to reconnect with the rejected parts of your body and their sensations in a safe, somatic way.
The process and its benefits
Sharing your experience with others shows you that you are not alone and helps you get the emotional support you need. If we trust ourselves to move beyond numbness and triggers, we make space to rediscover and share the pleasure our bodies can give and have been longing for. It is okay to feel at ease in your body and enjoy good feelings - you don’t need to be embarrassed or ashamed of them.
Participation and who it’s for
This course is part of the Humaniversity Sexual Healing Training, but it is also possible to participate in this course only. Ideal for those seeking:
