Description
This event is donation based. The suggested donation is between 20-50 soles.
We will begin with a simple cacao offering to help settle the body and bring attention inward. Cacao has been used traditionally to support focus and openness, and here it serves as a gentle way to transition out of the day and into a more intentional space. No prior experience is needed.
The Kirtan itself will involve call-and-response chanting of mantras. These are short, repetitive phrases that allow the mind to quiet down while the body engages through sound and breath. You don’t need to know the words ahead of time; you’ll be guided throughout. The emphasis is not on performance, but on participation. This is about expressing your own voice and contributing to the collective sound.
Shambhala provides a supportive environment where people can show up as they are. The intention is simple: to create a space where individuals can connect more deeply with themselves, with others, and with something larger than their usual day-to-day concerns. Through chanting together, the group naturally builds a sense of cohesion and shared energy.
