Uplifting Yoga & Sunshine Retreat in Sri Lanka
About
Immerse yourself deeply and open to new possibilities through breath, body and soul on an uplifting, sun-filled yoga and wellness adventure in Sri Lanka. Set on the southern coast - a landscape of tea plantations, Buddhist temples and wide, sunset beaches - this luxurious retreat overlooks paddy fields and is hidden away among wildlife, with the occasional distant chanting of monks. The turquoise sea and the historic city of Galle are a short tuk-tuk ride away.
The retreat centre sits on over 2.5 acres of tropical garden, with a large pool, indoor and outdoor covered lounges and a sheltered outdoor yoga space close to the paddy fields.
Retreat programme
You’ll practice twice daily with Nancy. Mornings begin with dynamic, flowing yoga to open the body and attune the mind to the breath. After the morning session enjoy abundant fresh fruit and a healthy, filling breakfast. Afternoons are yours to relax - stroll to nearby sandy beaches, book a local treatment, explore shops, cafes and restaurants, or unwind by the pool.
The group reconvenes in the late afternoon for a gentle, restorative practice focused on nourishment, including restorative postures, meditation and yoga nidra.
