Zentrip Ecstatic Dance Algarve — KASA DO AMOR
Overview
Every 1st Saturday of the Month we gather in the mountains to dance. Surrounded by nature on an 8,000 sq meters private place, we dance on a natural floor beneath pine trees with a spectacular sunset view. Hosted by the Rodrigues da Costa Family (Karen and Renato), the music is shared by ZENTRIP MUZIK as a DJ set, enriched with live acoustic performances—violin, vocals, drums and other instruments—creating a soulful, immersive ecstatic dance experience.
3 Simple Principles
- We Dance without shoes (We Dance Barefoot)
- Dancing barefoot allows a fuller connection with the ground (socks are OK).
- If you need dance shoes for a physical condition, that’s fine.
- We Dance without words (We Dance with Body Language)
- Silence supports a meditative, inward journey.
- No verbal instruction from the facilitators.
- No talking from the dancers.
- Quiet whispering on mats or benches in the back is allowed only if no one on the dancefloor can hear you.
- We Dance as We Are
- No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts… Just be yourself, with respect for yourself, the space, and one another.
About Ecstatic Dance
Ecstatic Dance is a freeform conscious dance practice. From the moment you enter, you’re invited to release judgments and expectations and to feel your emotions, sensations, body, mind, and spirit. This safe mountain setting encourages free expression while honoring the three main guidelines: no shoes (wear comfy clothes!), no booze or drugs, and no talking—body language only. Trust the journey, move through what arises, and enjoy an uplifting barefoot, mountain ecstatic dance under the sunset with live acoustic elements by ZENTRIP MUZIK.
