Kirtan · Bhakti Yoga Where chanting becomes a prayer of the heart

Kirtan Invitation · Bhakti Yoga ✨

You are warmly invited to join a Kirtan session, a devotional gathering rooted in the ancient practice of Bhakti Yoga — the yoga of devotion and the heart. This is a shared space of chanting, presence, and openness, where sound becomes a doorway into meditation and connection through the collective chanting of sacred names, mainly in Sanskrit.

About the Practice

Kirtan is an ancient devotional practice where voice (Prayer), rhythm, repetition, and collective intention gently guide the mind into stillness. Through the chanting of mantra, we naturally enter a meditative state that requires no effort or previous experience. You do not need to know how to sing, understand the meaning of the words, or pronounce them perfectly. In this Kirtan session, the mantra itself carries the vibration and does the work. Within the Bhakti Yoga tradition, there is no separation between the one who sings, the singing itself, and that which is being sung to. The singer, the song, and the sacred merge into a single lived experience. Devotion here is not a belief or an idea; it is something that unfolds naturally through sound. As we chant together, the nervous system softens, the heart opens, and the mind gently quiets. There is nothing to achieve — only to listen, feel, and allow yourself to be moved by the vibration of the mantra.

Practice Schedule

📅 Every Tuesday 🕓 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM This Kirtan session begins at 4:00 PM and lasts approximately two hours. The space is held in a warm, respectful, and grounded atmosphere, supporting a shared meditative experience and a sense of collective presence. You are welcome to arrive exactly as you are — with joy, tiredness, emotion, curiosity, questions, or silence. Everything you bring can be offered into the chanting. In this practice, singing is essential. The voice is a fundamental part of Kirtan, and by actively participating in the chanting, we gain deeper access to the experience the practice offers. Although rhythm and intensity may vary, surrendering to the sound is what allows the mantra to unfold the spiritual technology that it inherently is. As the chanting continues, the collective vibration expands, guiding us toward deep stillness and an enduring inner peace.

✨ If you feel the call to sing, to open your heart, or simply to rest in sound, this Kirtan session is for you. Come, chant, and let the mantra do its work. ✨
