West African Bonfire Concert
We invite you on a journey into the heart of West African tradition, blended with a modern fusion of funky acoustic beats and soulful vocals, all held in the warm glow of the bonfire.
The music is rooted in West African grooves and rhythms. The kora, a harp from one of the oldest musical traditions in Africa, comes from the griots - bards, storytellers, and virtuoso musicians who carry the knowledge of history and pass it from generation to generation.
The kamélé ngoni, often called the funkiest harp, comes from the Wassoulou region - an area believed to be one of the origins of West African music.
