Pura Vida Festival Retreat

We are convinced that we are all part of an interconnected web of life. Our individual well-being goes hand in hand with the flourishing of the greater whole.

With our spaces and events like our big Festival Retreat we wish to make this tangible. We create transformative learning experiences that bring us closer to ourselves, each other, nature and this planet.

We are a small multicultural community exploring new paths of transformation in the face of socio-ecological upheaval. We are dreamers, scientists and poets, entrepreneurs, activists and adventurers, and above all: friends.

Pura Vida was founded by Christian, Ocean and Felicitas. The three have invested a lot of money, time and energy to realize their idea and create a foundation on which we continue to build as a team. Since the first Festival Retreat in 2021 we have grown steadily. Many of us first came as “guests” - and stayed as co-creators, inspired to work for the growth of the community and to spread the Pura Vida vision.

Since 2025, we have finally been a registered association and can look back on an adventurous, wonderful and challenging time in which we have grown together - and continue to do so!
